Frequently asked questions

Does the result contain all PDF pages?

Yes, unless you select a smaller page range. A single multipage TIFF contains the selected pages.

Does this preserve PDF text?

No. PDF pages become raster images; selectable text and vectors are not retained.

Is the TIFF lossless?

The selected TIFF compression preserves raster pixels without loss; rendering itself rasterizes PDF content.

Why is my output so large?

TIFF encodes pixel images. Reduce the DPI or choose Deflate compression to decrease size.
