OTF is supported as input. Export is intentionally limited to TTF, WOFF and WOFF2 because the underlying library does not write OTF files.

Frequently asked questions

Does this upload my font?

No. The font file is read and converted locally in your browser.

Can it export OTF?

No. The underlying open-source library can read OTF and convert it to TrueType-based outputs, but OTF writing is not supported. The tool therefore exports TTF, WOFF or WOFF2 only.

Why does WOFF2 take a moment on first use?

WOFF2 encoding and decoding loads a small WebAssembly module before conversion.
